Moooving Ahead of the Corporate Herd

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) — The University of California, Riverside School of Business Administration (SoBA) Dean’s Speaker Series continues Nov. 15 with a talk by Tony Wong, author of “Mooove Ahead! of the Corporate Herd” and vice president of marketing at Badu Networks, an Orange County based software company.

The talk is set for 10:30 a.m. in Highlander Union Building (HUB) room 355. It is free and open to public.

He will introduce the topic of “Mooove Ahead! of the Corporate Herd” and relate it to young and mid-career professionals. He will also talk about other topics, including branding, managing up and down, networking and communication skills.

Wong spent more than 20 years in the corporate world, including management  experience  in  sales, marketing, training, customer service, supply chain,  software quality assurance and technical documentation  at  several  Fortune  150  companies.

“The Dean’s Speaker Series at SoBA allows students to learn from and interact with successful business figures like Tony Wong,” said Yunzeng Wang, interim dean of the business school. “I hope that those with aspirations of becoming future business leaders will take advantage of this upcoming opportunity.”
