Twilight Walk in the Garden
Dessert and refresments will be served following walk being held by Friends of the UC Riverside Botanic Gardens
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) — The Friends of the University of California, Riverside Botanic Gardens are holding a twilight tour at 7 p.m. on August 24.
The 90-minute tour, which is led by UC Riverside Botanic Gardens docents, is followed by dessert and refreshments on the patio.
“If you have never been in the Botanic Gardens during the nightfall, you are very encouraged to attend this event,” said Siri Khalsa, a member of Friends of the University of California, Riverside Botanic Gardens group. “It is unbelievably serene and mysterious in the evening and always a relief from the heat of the day.”
The cost is $6 for Friends of the UC Riverside Botanic Gardens members and $8 for non-members, payable at the door. There is an hourly charge for parking.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling (951) 784-6962 or sending an email to ucrbg@ucr.edu.
