Carol Park is an award winning journalist, researcher at the Young Oak Kim Center at the University of California Riverside, and a filmmaker with her documentary “The LA Riots: Reflections on Our Future” based on the LA riots. She discusses her experience as a child working in her mother’s store in Compton, returning to school for an MFA, and the process of producing a documentary.
