Business School Among the Best
School of Business Administration is among the top in the nation and west
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) – The University of California, Riverside School of Business Administration is among the top 296 business schools in the nation and one of the best in the west, according to The Princeton Review’s “The Best 296 Business Schools: 2013 Edition.”
“Our MBA program continues to grow each year, and it is great validation to have the Princeton Review once again recognize our efforts at the business school,” said Yunzeng Wang, interim dean of the School of Business Administration.
The Princeton Review does not rank the schools in the book on a single hierarchical list from 1 to 296, or name one business school best overall, according to Robert Franek, Princeton Review Senior VP-Publisher. Instead, schools are selected based on their academic programs and institutional data they supply to Princeton Review.
Princeton Review also solicits and respects the opinions of students attending these schools. Students rate and report on their experiences at the schools on an 80-question survey for the book.
Among the student comments listed by Princeton Review were: “Combine the Southern California climate with a ‘fantastic school’ offering ‘generous financial aid,’ and it’s easy to understand why the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at UC—Riverside gets such high marks from students.” Another said: “I am having the time of my life [and]…feel very privileged to be here.”
Established in 1972, the UC Riverside School of Business Administration, home of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, is the first professional school of its kind in the region, and the only one at a research-based institution. Leveraging its location at the nexus of commerce, the UCR business school seeks to develop world-class leaders and scholars who are as diverse as the challenges they face and the enterprises they grow.
