RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu)  — Nearly 600 students from the University of California, Riverside had the opportunity to meet with representatives from 65 employers Thursday at the Career Night Spring Job Fair, sponsored by the UCR Career Center.

With resumes in hand and most dressed in their finest business attire, the students made their way through the crowded aisles of HUB 302 to talk to recruiters about positions running the gamut from sales and marketing to management/administration to engineering and computer programming.

“We were at maximum capacity with 65 employers, confident that our students would be outstanding and that our event would be a success,” said Career Center Director Sean Gil. “We received many positive comments from both students and employers.”

The Career Center will host the “Last Chance Job Fair” on Thursday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in HUB 302. For more information, contact Delores Washington at (951) 827-3633 or visit http://careers.ucr.edu/careerFairsWorkshops/careerfairs/Pages/CareerFairs.aspx
