Free Screening of “Girl Rising” Scheduled for Thursday, April 24

UC Riverside Extension and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will present the documentary “Girl Rising,” which shows how educating girls and young women in the developing world can transform families, communities and countries while breaking the cycle of poverty. The screening will be held Thursday, April 24, 6 p.m. in the UCR University Theater. Admission is free, but a reservation is required. Reservations can be made by calling (951) 827-4105.
