RE: Tragedy at UCSB

We join our sister campuses in mourning the loss of six students and the injury of nine others at UC Santa Barbara.  Such tragedies touch us deeply, and we express our profound sympathy to the entire UCSB community and especially to the families and friends of those who were lost.

In honor of the victims and as a show of support, UCR students have organized a candlelight vigil on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. to memorialize the victims of the Isla Vista tragedy and show support for the entire UCSB campus community.  Information may be found at: https://www.facebook.com/events/243414889191774/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular

For those who feel the need for support, services are available at the UCR Counseling Center, 951-827-5531.

Please join me in conveying our empathy and compassion to our extended family at UC Santa Barbara.

Sincerely,

Kim
