RIVERSIDE, Calif. — “We are just beginning a decade of leadership in American higher education,” says UCR Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox in a new video.  Wilcox has announced plans to grow the faculty by 300 ladder-rank positions, continue the internationalization of the campus, and provide a new long range development plan to enhance facilities and growth of the university.

Wilcox says his vision is grounded in the particular mission of a public research university that is part of the Land-Grant system founded by President Abraham Lincoln in the 19th Century.
