Business School Names Executive Fellows

RIVERSIDE, Calif. ( — The University of California, Riverside School of Business Administration has named Robert Stapleton and Tobin Sloane its Executive Fellows for the 2015-16 school year.

Sloane is CFO of Ware Malcomb, a leading national design firm, providing planning, architectural, interior design, graphic design and civil engineering services to commercial real estate and corporate clients throughout the world.

Stapleton is a management adviser and investor in portfolio companies of leading private equity firms. He co-founded two highly successful public companies, Western Wireless Corporation and VoiceStream Wireless (now-T-Mobile). In 2005, he founded High Road Sports, Inc., a sports management company that owned and operated Team HTC-Highroad.

They succeed Susan Atherton and Timothy Greenleaf, who served as Executive Fellows during the 2014-15 school year. Atherton served in executive management positions in the enterprise software and cloud computing industries for 25 years. Greenleaf is a managing director at Fairmont Capital Inc.

The Executive Fellows Program was founded in 1992, and came back into prominence in 2013, reflecting the business school’s commitment to professional excellence and its interdependent relationship with business leaders. The program aims to connect distinguished business leaders with students and faculty to enrich the learning experience and enhance the business school’s impact in contributing to society.
