UCR activities were put into high gear before the school year ends

The Bourns College of Engineering celebrated its 25th Anniversary on May 16. The event featured two former chancellors of the university, the founding dean of the college, several prominent supporters of the college, a math magician and a laser light show.

With the academic school year drawing to an end, UCR went into full swing with its activities in the month of May. UCR celebrated Bourns College of Engineering’s 25th anniversary, honored rationalist author Avijit Royhad through a vigil, had a display of 7,000 mini American flags for Memorial Day, held its sixth annual “UC Walks” event and its 24th annual “Chalk the Walk,” hosted a public hearing led by California Assemblyman Jose Medina and much more!
