The academic year has launched with new students, new faculty, and a visit with some UCR traditions.

September began with the annual Chancellor’s Staff and Faculty Picnic to welcome a new academic year; Move-in Day and Convocation welcomed UCR’s largest class; and the campus said ‘hello’ to Assemblyman Jose Medina along with a number of elected officials, educators, and community leaders for a public hearing about access to education.

Say hello to our slideshow below to check out photos from these events and other September happenings at UCR!
