Prof. Kassas Featured in IEEE Signal Processing Magazine

The May 2017 issue of the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine featured an interview with Prof. Zak Kassas on new directions in navigation and positioning and how signal processing-enabled technologies are playing a key role in pinpointing people, places, and things. The interview appeared in an article entitled “New Directions in Navigation and Positioning.” Prof. Kassas discussed the need for alternatives to GPS and highlighted the latest research results relating to navigation with signals of opportunity produced by his Autonomous Systems Perception, Intelligence, & Navigation (ASPIN) Laboratory.
