White to Give Annual “State of the Campus” Address at CUC Breakfast on May 30

Annual address will look at UC Riverside's "Path to Preeminence"

UC Riverside Chancellor Timothy P. White will present his “State of the Campus” address on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) — University of California, Riverside Chancellor Timothy P. White will present his annual “State of the Campus” address to the Citizens’ University Committee (CUC)  on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

The presentation is part of the regular CUC Breakfast Meeting beginning at 7:15 a.m. at University Extension Rooms D/E. The extension building is located at 1200 University Ave., across from the University Village shopping center. Admission to the CUC meeting is $18 for members or $22 for non-members and includes a deluxe breakfast buffet. The deadline to RSVP for the event is Friday, May 25 and space is limited.

White’s presentation will address campus goals, the challenges that lay ahead, and how the university is “Living the Promise” as it continues on the path to preeminence.

Also scheduled to speak is Rick Miller, superintendent of the Riverside Unified School District.
